The National Children’s Cancer Society is a nonprofit organization helping children and their families nationwide deal with the devastating financial and emotional toll of a childhood cancer diagnosis.
The average cost a family pays to treat their child’s cancer is $833,000. With donations provided in part by fundraisers like The National Children’s Cancer Society Golf Classic, the NCCS has been able to provide financial support totaling over $66 million to 43,000 children and their families in the last 30 years.
In partnership with over 300 hospitals and treatment centers nationwide, the NCCS offers a community of support for families trying to navigate their new reality after a childhood cancer diagnosis. No family should have to go through this process alone or receive substandard care because of a lack of coverage or funds.
