  • Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
  • Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist
  • Automatic High Beams
  • Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

In general, the main difference between the features available in the Toyota Safety Sense P package compared to the C package are that select features in the P package, like steering assist and dynamic radar cruise control, have the ability to automatically intervene by nudging the vehicle back into place or pumping on the brakes when no driver action is detected after an alert.

  • Automatic High Beams

While the features available in the Toyota Safety Sense C package can’t intervene on your behalf, save for the brake assist (or automatic emergency braking) portion of the pre-collision system, they can alert you to impending hazards in your path which is still very valuable for driver safety.
