How to clean up coffee on upholstery
The process of how to clean up coffee on upholstery is fairly simple. Time is not on your side when dealing with stains, so try and do all of this as soon after the spill as possible.
- Blot the spill with a paper towel. Keep blotting to remove excess liquid. Do not scrub—that will set the stain further.
- Put a small amount of detergent on a dampened sponge.
- Gently rub the stain with your sponge. The stain should gradually disappear.
- There still may be a faint stain. If so, mix lukewarm water and vinegar, and apply a small amount directly onto the stain.
