With daylight saving time happening soon, it is important to change your clocks back an hour so you aren’t an hour early for everything for the next four months. One important clock to change is the one in your vehicle. If the time in your vehicle is wrong you might never be on time for appointments. Today we’re going to provide simple instructions for adjusting the clock in your 2015 Toyota Corolla and various other Toyota models.
When is daylight saving time this year?
This year daylight saving time occurs on November 6 around 2 a.m. At this time, clocks should go back an hour, which means sunrise and sunset will be earlier than the day before. Most phones and mobile devices change automatically, but it is still important to change the clock in your vehicle. The Toyota Corolla has an easy-to-change clock that consists of three small buttons.
There are two buttons on the right side of the clock and one on the left. The top right button controls the hours and the bottom right button controls the minutes. The left side button rounds the time to the nearest hour to make changing the minutes go faster. For example, if you hit this button when the time is from 1:00-1:29, it will change to 1:00, but if the time is between 1:30-1:59, it will change to 2:00. These three buttons are all you need to make sure your vehicle has the accurate time so you aren’t early (or late) to work on Monday.
