2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid Fuel Specs
2020 Corolla Hybrid LE Fuel Economy Scores
For its inaugural year, the 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid is only available in one trim level, meaning all models in the lineup will offer similar fuel efficiency. Drivers will be happy to see that the 2020 Corolla Hybrid fuel scores rival some of the most efficient hybrids in the business including the Toyota Prius with 53 miles per gallon in city driving and 52 miles per gallon on the highway. The hybrid sedan also comes equipped with selectable drive modes so drivers can customize their performance based on road conditions. The three driving modes are EV for all-electric travel, Eco for premium fuel efficiency, and Power for times when a little extra oomph is needed from the gas-powered engine.
How does it compare to the gas-powered Corolla?
While still competitive with gas-powered rivals, the traditional 2020 Toyota Corolla offers much less efficiency with 30 miles per gallon in the city and 38 miles per gallon on the highway for base L trims. Fuel specs are slightly different depending on which 2020 Corolla trim you own. The least fuel-conscious model in the lineup is the 2020 Corolla SE 6MT with a manual transmission that receives 29 miles per gallon in the city and 36 miles per gallon on the highway.
