For the 2019 model year, the RAV4 has received updates that will make the driving and passenger experiences in the RAV4 better than ever whether the crossover is on pavement or rough terrain. The wheelbase has been elongated, overhangs in the front and back have been reduced, AWD systems have been expanded, and the ground clearance is almost an inch taller than before so the 2019 RAV4 can handle even bumpier terrain without missing a beat. Perhaps the most exciting changes however are inside where the RAV4 has received an updated Toyota Entune system that now supports an Amazon Alexa assistant and the Apple CarPlay system along with the next-generation Toyota Safety Sense active safety suite. This should make many car shoppers who were disappointed in the connectivity options of previous Toyota models very happy.
