One of the newest and most requested feature additions to the Toyota lineup in recent years is Apple CarPlay functionality. Apple CarPlay connects an Apple smartphone to the infotainment display screen for hands-free connectivity. While Apple CarPlay compatibility can be found on many new 2019 Toyota models, it is not available on the 2019 Toyota Corolla. Though, the Entune system that comes standard provides many of the same benefits. Learn more about the connectivity options in the 2019 Corolla below.
2019 Toyota Corolla Connectivity Options
A USB port, Bluetooth connectivity, and a suite of Toyota Entune infotainment products are all available within the 2019 Corolla lineup to provide drivers access to texting, calling, and their favorite audio on the move. The available Entune Audio Plus feature comes equipped with Siri Eyes Free and can deliver turn-by-turn directions when connected to a compatible smartphone device.
Apple CarPlay compatibility is slated to appear on the newest 2020 Toyota Corolla as a standard feature. Drivers will need to wait until the spring of 2019 if they have their hearts set on a new Corolla with Apple CarPlay.
