During a month filled with indulgence, it is nice to participate in a few extra sweat-inducing activities. Hot Cider Hustle – November 4
Kicking off the month is the Hot Cider Hustle 5K run/walk on November 4th. The race will be taking place at the Forest Park in St. Louis. All participants who finish the race will receive swag including hot cider, a caramel apple, a long sleeve shirt, and a mug. Veterans Day 5K – November 11
The Veterans Day 5K is taking place on the same day as the annual Veterans Day parade in St. Louis. The event will include a 5K, a fun run, a DJ, face painting and other family-friendly activities and snacks. The event will take place in downtown St. Louis at the Soldiers Memorial and race swag will be available for purchase. For more information, visit stpatrickventer.org/vet5k/.
The Twilight Turkey Trot will be taking place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and aims to raise funds for The Purposeful Nurse Foundation. The Purposeful Nurse Foundation is working to combat gaps in healthcare that limit the quality of life for local patients. The race will be taking place at the Forest Park in St. Louis. The Hungry Turkey – November 23
Registering for The Hungry Turkey 5K race on Thanksgiving Day will help to support the local Operation Food Search food bank. The first 1,000 people to register for the event will be given a souvenir shirt. Participants that finish the race faster than the racing turkey will also be eligible for additional prizes. Turkey Trot STL 5K – November 23
The Turkey Trot STL 5K race follows the route of the St. Louis Thanksgiving Day parade past Busch Stadium, the Peabody Opera House, and more St. Louis landmarks. The race aims to support the local St. Patrick Center and runners are encouraged to bring canned food items or toiletry items for donation to the center on race day. St. Louis Turkey Trot 8K – November 23
The annual St. Louis Turkey Trot 8k will be held in Tower Grove Park and is a chip-timed race. Finishers of the St. Louis Turkey Trot 8K will be greeted with a cinnamon roll upon finishing the race and race swag will be available for purchase.
