St. Louis Labor Day Parade Time and Parking
One of the most popular Labor Day events in St. Louis is the annual parade. This year it will be taking place Sept. 5, 2016 starting at 9 a.m. The parade route begins at 15th & Olive to Tucker, then goes South on Tucker to Market, then West on Market and ends at 15th & Market, so parking will be limited in these areas.
Big Muddy Blues Festival in St. Louis
Every Labor Day weekend the Laclede’s Landing Merchants Association (LLMA) hosts the Big Muddy Blues Festival. This year it will take place Sept. 3 and 4 from 3 p.m. to midnight both days. There are three stages and 3 clubs inside with live music happening all day long. The National Blues Museum is also open both days with a tribute to Johnnie Johnson between 12:30-2:30. The LLMA is committed to providing a fun and safe blues-filled weekend to St. Louisans and visitors. They have a local lineup of over 45 bands and musicians that all perform 18 hours of music throughout the weekend.
